Roads are one of the essential pillars of the American economy. They provide the connectivity needed to build and maintain a productive society. Without roads, society collapses and economic development is negatively impacted. As technology increases with the advent of autonomous vehicles the need for quality roads continues to be more important than ever before.
These companies will not be replaced by AI, have an extremely high barrier of entry to start, often requiring millions of dollars in initial investment and are absolutely essential to the future growth of the American economy.
Over the next six years, fifty percent of the owners of companies providing essential services such as paving and grading are going to retire, with most having no plan of succession. During the same period the market is expected to grow by over 40B dollars. As time goes on, the imbalance between the demand for these services and the number of companies able to meet the demand will continue to grow.
